New Mother Pearl Opens in Quarry Bay and Brings New Bubble Tea Flavours This Summer

New summer guilt-free handcrafted fruit tea & icy crush for cooling down in a heatwave

Mother Pearl starts crafting its much loved homemade guilt-free bubble tea drinks at a new location on Tong Chong Street in Quarry Bay, featuring 4 new summer bubble teas, including the refreshingly delicious fruit tea “Garden of Eden”, pink lemonade “Kiss in Pink” as well as the Hong Kong-style creations “Red Bean Frappe” and “Cho-Cacao”. On August 12, 2021 (Thursday), we will be throwing a bash for its grand opening with free vegan cookies giveaway to celebrate the joyous moment.

Focusing on the power of the super ingredients, Mother Pearl’s founder Ms Po Chen and her Hong Kong team have created 4 brand new bubble tea flavours to celebrate the launch of the new shop. First up is the “Kiss in Pink” (Petite $38 | Regular $44), a unique sweet and tart pink lemonade made with fresh rhubarb, fresh lemon, monkfruit sugar, ginger, alkaline water and nata de coco, topped with a thin layer of vanilla rice froth and a pinch of Himalayan pink salt which gives a nice savoury punch; 100% natural blush pink colour from rhubarb with no artificial colouring. Next, we have this new refreshing cold brew tea for a summertime detox. Made from seasonal organic fruits packed with nutritious goodness, this 12-hour cold brew Orchid Tieguanyin, “Garden of Eden” (Petite $40 | Regular $46) , is a premium light oolong tea from Anxi, Fujian infused with alkaline water, herbs and fresh fruits including cucumber, apple, citrus and strawberries for freshness, natural floral aromas and a touch of fruity sweetness, adding with turmeric tapioca, fresh fruits and the amazing collagen ice cube, featuring KAPOWDER® Saviour biotin blend that helps support collagen production and keeping organs healthy and skin glow, have beauty supplement and detox tea in one go!
